Chiron (not Chyron)
Until I discovered astrology, the only “Chyron” I knew about was the one that I saw on the bottom my television. Oh, but there’s another! Chiron - the “minor” planet, situated between Saturn and Uranus, which, like a late bloomer, was not discovered until the 1970’s, is a force to reckoned with!
So, what is all the fuss? In astrology, Chiron plays an important role in our natal chart (which you can create for free on www.astro.com) and it’s symbol - a key - is no accident. Chiron is the key that can unravel the mystery of our chart and our life.
Archetypically, it represents our deepest wound, but here’s the catch: it is through this wound, when integrated, that it reveals itself to be our greatest gift and talent. It represents the transcentendal journey of our sould. Not bad for a minor planet.
An example is, a person who has suffered health ailments throughout their life, finds ways to heal those ailments, fully or partially, and then teaches others about it, discovering that this is what that person was born to do.
If you’ve ever wondered what is that missing piece - that key to unlock answers to your questions about why you are here - take a look at the Chiron placement in your chart.
